How to Apologize

For over 10 years, I have found that writing without a doubt is the best method of communicating strong feelings BEFORE a face to face meeting.  The reason is because when strong emotions are present people react and interrupt without intelligently choosing their response.

Over the last 18 months, I’ve been spending an enormous amount of time reading books and computer screens and begun to notice my vision deteriorating.

The two places I noticed it most were on the highway while trying to read exit signs, and in cafes while trying to read the menu on the wall.

When you are old and gray where would you like to spend your last one year as your body slowly withers away?   Would you like to see the smiling face of your grandchildren every morning as they greet you before leaving for school?

Or would you like to be woken up by the loud plastic curtain being ripped open to let in light by an overgrown, foreign immigrant who barely speaks English? 

Be Happy

“You don’t know what you don’t know.”

Exposure  is the key to achieving maximum happiness in any area of your life.  If you are unhappy, simply look at the amount of exposure you’ve had in that particular area.

Exposure will determine your success or lack of.  Years 0-30 are all about getting the most exposure in every area of the world.  Discovering all of your options and resources in every category of the world will give you a higher probability of choosing what will make you happiest in your life.

If you want to have a spectacular day, start the momentum off right and get off to a fast start!  Wake up early, dress in such a way that makes you feel good.  Take a glance in the mirror and tell yourself how good you look as you smile.

You be the controller of your emotion for the day, don’t let anybody else set it for you.  The first 30 minutes of your morning will set the tone for the rest of your day.
