How To Find Your Passion

Some time ago, I was spending 60 hours per week working in a bank, helping people who really did not care about me or anything I had to say.

I felt worthless until I read a book which helped me to discover where my true passion lies and pave an entirely new path and direction.  I realized that I was giving up 60-70% of my time and my life for principles that were not entirely aligned with my personal values.  This difference between my internal desire and my actions were the cause of my suffering.

When I read The Passion Test, I was able to apply Janet Attwood’s step by step process to clarify my top passions. Now with absolute mental clarity of what’s important to me and what makes me happy, I am able to ensure that 100% of my daily actions are in alignment.

Using Janet’s process I created an elaborate list of everything I could think of which was important to me.  Using an intelligent system of elimination I narrowed down several hundred important topics into 5 personal power statements.

I wrote these 5 personal power statements onto 5 note cards and stuck them where I would see them every day.

I taped one on my lap top computer, bathroom mirror, refrigerator, speedometer in my car, and one folded in my money clip.  Those 5 personal power statements were the following:

I am enjoying perfect health with lots of energy and stamina.

I am having fun with everything I do.

I am changing and impacting many lives with emotion and love.

I am enjoying and deserving becoming a multimillionaire.

I am traveling and experiencing many different people and cultures.

By clarifying my top 5 passions it made it easier for me to say no to opportunities, the wrong opportunities or distractions.  Whenever I had to make a decision about something I simply pulled out my list of 5 passions and asked myself does this opportunity move me in the direction of all 5 passions?

This list was what lead me to the creation of PersonalGrowthPages.com.

I am 29 years old and I have never been happier.  Discovering my passions was like waking up from a nightmare and realizing that all of my dreams could come true if I just made the right choices.

I took immediate action, learned what it takes to become successful online and began implementing tiny strategies one by one, day by day.

Now I am fortunate to have met so many friends and have the opportunity to coach so many others to do the same thing using the power of mass leverage and social networking on the internet.
